We Miss him

My current birthday plan is going to be unsuccessful. I was so excited to get a phone call saying that I got to spend the weekend in Detroit with my buddy Levi. His bags were packed and he was ready to come home but due to reasons beyond anyones control he is unable to make it back. Being my 20th and his 21st birthday we had so much hope for making it a great memory. Now we have to find new ideas and I wont be able to think about much else except how we didn't get to have the memories of a life time. Instead I am still going. With a car full of fun and amazing friends but my heart will still ache for the one who isn't getting to share the unforgetable moments with us. Its hard but still comforting to at least be able to hear his voice across the phone. To be reminded of so many things with a simple hello is an amazing power. So cheers and beers to Levi. Its your birthday too and have me some fun!

Rain Drops

I love to listen to the echos of the rain.
It craves my attention but I will not go alone.
I await for someone to take me. Thats my one birthday wish.
