Spending more time at home isn't always horrible. I've caught up on my rest for the winter. I almost feel like I am hibernating. If you see the bears tell them I'm still sleeping.
I found myself hanging out with some old pals on Friday night. We had a white elephant gift party. Which was actually rather fun. I had got a strange disco ball light which was previously owned by Adrienne. I loved the idea of being able to just pick something random from your house just to give it away. I also met a kid named Jordan who actually makes me laugh quite alot. When I say kid I mean kid... he is only 16 which honestly you forget when you are laughing so hard at the strangest jokes. Then reality hits when you say something about stuff that happen in the early 90's and the boy looks at you like you've just made it up.
Yes life did exisit before Jordan. lol.
So in other news ... I finally saw that kids movie Open Season and I was a bit surprised because it wasn't at all how I wanted it to be but I do love the line about I am half doe and half buck so that makes me a DUCK! thats pretty clever.
My relationship status is currently COMPLICATED which seems to be okay with me. I am just trying to maintain a level head about everything thats been thrown at me lately.
Ha so that means I am not taken nor am I single and looking to mingle. If it just so happens I decide in a later time woo ... that'd be great then maybe otherwise Meh... whatever.

I am kinda curious to hear what will happen with my foot because I am getting ready for competition with the SWEET ADELINES. I am looking forward to this year because I know what to expect. Last year I was so scared I didn't get to enjoy anything. So hopefully I will be able to compete. Its always awesome to go out there on that stage with the brightest lights and an audience full of musically inclined people there just to tell you your downfalls so that one day you can return and be the most amazing choir that everyone envys. I can't wait til we are higher up because currently we are only 6th which honestly its not bad at all for region 3 but ... to me I wanna be top 4 !!! So keep your fingers crossed maybe one day we will make it. alright enough rambling for now .. catch ya later!

The things you learn

For Valentines day I spent my time singing all day. It was actually a lot of fun. We did sing-a-grams from about 8am -7pm which was crazy but really sweet and fun. I love Valentine's day even if I am currently single. I think the holiday was invited just for me. I am hoping next year I will be able to sing alone in a quartet ... This time we were a double quartet. So it wasn't that scary.

This week I learned that Hillary Clinton is on the Board for wal-mart and gets paid a large about of money but never has once attended a meeting. Do not allow yourself to ever think that limping and having to wear a walking boot is the "WORST" thing because soon you will find yourself in public with Toliet paper stuck to the already giant walking boot.
To be old and forgetful might not be so bad... You can always hide your own easter eggs for a thrill.
Also if your friend decides she would like to stick a window decoration to her head don't allow it because she will have a large purple circle on her head for days and you have to be seen in public with her.

alright well otherwise .. Life is good- its boring and the way we like it. :)

Cute bastard didn't you know Tic Tac Toe was a contact sport?

Having a broken foot limits you to the amount of things you can leave the house to go do. So I've spent more time with the family. Like today... I played Tic Tac Toe with Breanna until she accidently punched me in the nose. It was a honest accident or thats the lie the little kid has me believing but still.
Most people you find will tell you living with an older person is lame but I have found the experiance to be the complete oppisite. Like today for example I was wearing my cool hat that has words and when My Grandmother took a quick glance at it she thought it said Cute Bastard on it? How the world she ever got that is beyond me. Instead it says CUTE BUT EVIL. So ah thats my family.

Express Panda

Panda Express always makes me smile. No matter what this food seems to always be amazing and I'm always full. So when Fievel and I went the other night my favorite part of the night is getting the fortune. Her cookie said she should learn to accept failure. Which was just funny. My cookie said you will live a long life and eat many fortune cookies. So I was rather amused.

Thursday Night last week I finally got to see Amanda Root. We went to dinner had some tradewind drinks and then we gathered Mike and Jenny for a movie. Well no one mentioned how bad the Messegers movie was gonna be. So we went and it was like Birds 3 with crow v.s. the ring. Yeah we had a riot though even if none of us liked the movie. Its the first time all of us have hungout in awhile.

These days I am trying to keep a low profile and hoping sometime soon I will get to venture out and play in all the snow we've been having. Everything looks so beautiful in the dark mornings because the particals of the snow collect and make little rainbows in the light. Its just so cool. Otherwise the cold is kinda lame because its been so cold you can't do anything at all!! You just wish you did.

The B's... Baking,Blizzards and BROKEN?

So today I discovered the joys of just adding water. Apparently its assumed if you are spending the day baking you are just going to pour a little powdered mixure out of a box and add water. I was seriously surprised. Zane's Wife Elisha and I were going to bake cupcakes with our little cousins all day she said. Little did I know it was just add water and stir. I'm not saying baking from a box is a sin but then say lets quickly mix up a batch for 88 cents instead of making it sound like a hard task. I was even more surprised when I heard that she didn't realize you could melt butter to replace the oil we didn't have. YIKES! What is the world coming to?

In other news its been snowing here like crazy and now we have an actual BLIZZARD OF 07' ! Who knew we'd be so lucky this year. Green christmas and all but now a white Valentines Day. How cool?! Seeing all the snow makes me want to go sledding but I'm however forbidden to complete such tasks currently because I just now found out that the "SPRAINED" Ankle has issues. Yup its true the doctors confirmed it they missed the fracture in my foot and now that I've been walking on it for almost a month its not a very good sign. So sadly I thought it was going to be fine and dandy but now maybe its going to be more trouble than what its worth lol. I don't know. I do like walking but I am so clumsy I can't see what good this leg getting better is going to do me.

In good news I have made a new friend he is super awesome. I found him when I went camera shopping and there he was selling cameras. Currently he is just someone to keep up with my random rantings so thats always a plus. I like witty people. Hopefully he becomes another Ninja pal to add to my collection of amazing people.

Ho hos

Tonight was hilarious... My cousin Zane came home from Nc for the first time in almost forever. While I worked my brother Lloyd decided they would get a little bit of fun started at the bar. When I got out of work at 10pm they were just getting there buzz. It was hilarious. We ended up going to my bar to finish out the night and wow...on the way home they were saying some of the best stuff I've ever heard but Zane said when he was 3 he ate a ho ho that once cost so much that he was still in Debit at the age of 7. Which honestly is pretty freakin hilarious. So yeah I just wanted to mention it so that the next time I am out with them I can bring up hos.!! :)
